How it all started...
In early 2021, Lester's Feet Foundation founder Terry Peer learned about a family from Western Kentucky who had two small children fighting Leukemia at the same time. Terry learned of the family through his daughter Kaylin who is part of the Georgetown College Softball team. The college softball team was doing a fundraiser to help pay rent as the family lived in an apartment in Cincinnati while the girls received treatment. Terry wanted to help the family more so used some resources he had with a popular podcast called Chasing Giants with Don Higgins. When people learned of the story, they wanted to help and Lester's Feet was created.
Mission...
Financially assist families whose children and / or dependents have life altering illnesses and need help beyond medical bills including but not limited to travel, lodging, meals, mortgage, rent, and miscellaneous expenses.
